We recommend using the Bluetooth dongle supplied with your IMUs.
However, if you do find yourself wanting to use a Bluetooth dongle different to the one supplied, ensure that it uses Bluetooth 4.0 technology. Before your data capture session make sure to check that the connection can be made and maintained by doing a test run.
It is tempting to attempt to use the inbuilt Bluetooth of your PC or laptop but based on our short tests in the Logemas office we have found that the signal strength/connection is too intermittent when connecting in this way.
